What You Will Do:

  • Identify and implement reliability and efficiency improvements to the platform
  • Create and maintain terraform to manage test and production environments
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and other automation tools
  • Work with engineers to support product development from inception to release
  • Respond to, diagnose, and assist in solving production incidents
  • Participate in root cause analysis and blameless post-mortems

 

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree is required

  • 6+ years relevant work experience

  • 5+ years experience working in Microsoft Azure

  • Thorough understanding of Azure DevOps Pipelines, CI/CD practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Knowledge in implementing and managing DevOps tools such as Github ES, Azure DevOps, Swagger, Selenium, and JMeter- Scripting skills, particularly with PowerShell or YAML.

  • Basic hands-on knowledge of Oracle database and weblogic functions

  • Weblogic:   Perform WebLogic system administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, problem resolution, system security and change implementation, Perform WebLogic installation, administration, and documentation,  Work individually or in a team on various system projects related to UNIX, Linux, Windows and Application support.

  • Oracle:  Design, develop, implement, and maintain core Oracle applications; Maintain SQL / PLSQL processes;  Ensure DB availability; Proactively manage and maintain security standards and controls; Actively seek to optimize and simplify the architecture; Take ownership of performance and capacity monitoring aspects of the DB.

  • Ensure SLA's & operational KPI’s are met, working as necessary with internal and external support functions when major incidents occur.  

  • Comfortable with troubleshooting app code in C#/ Java

  • Experience with Azure SQL or other relational databases

  • Infrastructure Provisioning experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform

  • Knowledge in Azure cloud monitoring tools, application performance monitoring tools, and operational dash-boarding

  • Experience with Azure solutions such as App Services, App Insights, Storage Accounts, Resource Groups, and monitoring tools, etc.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert

  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, DevOps Security, software engineering, or similar role.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in secure configuration and operations for on-prem and in the cloud with any of the following: Azure DevOps(ADO), GitHub, or similar platforms.

  • Familiarity with FISMA HIGH, FedRAMP HIGH, and/or Zero Trust Architecture highly preferred.

The annual salary range for this position is $115,200.00-$172,800.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
