What You Will Do:
The Systems Deployment and Training Lead will join a dynamic team supporting a global implementation of IT systems at the Department of State. In this role, the candidate will define the overall deployment and training approach for the rollout of two global IT systems as well as oversee the day-to-day efforts of workstreams conducting the deployment and implementation of the systems.
Day to day responsibilities may include:
Performing tests to verify the system functions as intended and identify any potential issues
Developing and overseeing the implementation of training materials to include manuals, presentations, and hands-on exercises to educate users on the system's functionalities
Developing training strategies and overseeing the implementation of training for different user groups, addressing their specific needs and questions about the system
Providing troubleshooting assistance to users during implementation phase and addressing any post-deployment issues
Overseeing deployments according to the plan, monitoring progress, and addressing issues that ariseÂ
Developing user training on the system features and functionalitiesÂ
Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing ongoing support to usersÂ
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelor's degree
FIVE (5) years’ experience with system administration, software deployment, and/or systems training
What Would Be Nice To Have:
State Department experience (or other international agency)
Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to changing project requirements
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Prior consulting experience
