Sr Tax Manager

About the Role:
As a Senior Manager in our Tax Practice, you will take a leadership role in delivering top-notch tax services to a diverse client base, including individuals and families. You'll work closely with family offices on complex income, gift, and estate planning issues. This position offers the opportunity to manage multiple client engagements, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the growth of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead tax consulting and compliance services for individuals and families
- Collaborate with family offices on income, estate, and gift tax matters
- Review and oversee the preparation of complex individual, estate, trust, and gift tax returns
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including client communication, data analysis, and coordination with internal and client resources
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of tax issues related to income, trust, and estate tax
- Work alongside clients' external advisors to provide comprehensive financial planning
- Mentor and motivate junior team members by providing leadership, guidance, and career development support
- Help grow the firm's client base by developing new business relationships and identifying potential opportunities
What You Bring:
- Minimum of 6 years of tax experience in Public Accounting, with at least 3 years at the Manager level or higher
- Active CPA license
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Expertise in working with individuals, trusts, and multi-generational families, including income, estate, and gift tax planning
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience in managing and mentoring tax professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service
