The Programmer will aid in the design, development, and support of the RCM work driver and peripheral systems. The development will include, but is not limited to, scripting, UI windows, workflow, import and export formats, and reporting. This position will also work with our software vendor to assist in the implementation of new technologies, system upgrades and testing. This position will also provide end-user support on various software applications on ESS users’ PCs. |
Responsibilities: |
- Provide application knowledge and programming capability for Artiva HCx systems once trained
- Work closely with the Data & Analytics Manager to conceive and present options to department management regarding systems/application options, enhancements, or operational changes
- Develop, test, and implement Artiva HCx enhancements as determined by department management
- Trouble-shoot, research, and correct outstanding issues with Artiva HCx and DMS applications. Report findings to individual and department management as indicated.
- Monitor daily Artiva HCx activities and key indicators. Research, correct, and report anomalies as indicated.
- Exhibit or develop and utilize a basic understanding of Crystal reports with the goal of being able to manipulate existing reports and create new reports as needed
- Adhere to company data handling requirements and HIPAA standards
- Supports the development of A/R analytics and value propositions for HMS clients utilizing Tableau
- Effectively explain complex concepts to other company personnel
- Meet deadlines and effectively communicate barriers or hurdles
- Document processes and procedures in a detailed manner
- Perform detailed testing, positive and negative testing, and White Box verses Black Box testing
- Identify, champion, and facilitate opportunities for process improvement and innovation
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization
- Other duties as assigned
Experience & Education: |
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in-lieu of degree
- 1-2 years of applicable experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suites Applications
- Experience and proficiency in SQL
- Entry level or Advanced understanding of coding language for object-oriented programming, such as C++, or cache Object script
- Ability to solve complex problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Customer service oriented
Preferred Experience: | |
- Artiva HCx experience a plus
- Preferred knowledge of business intelligence tools (ex: Crystal Reports, Tableau, Power BI), as well as program platforms Windows, Web, and Linux
- Demonstrates deep knowledge of data base structure
