The Atlanta Marriott Buckhead is seeking a passionate and dedicated Director of Human Resources to join our Executive Committee. In this role, you'll shape our team culture, provide expert guidance to property leadership, and help drive our business forward. What You’ll Do:
As the Director of Human Resources, you’ll oversee and lead key initiatives across talent acquisition, employee relations, training, development, and compliance. Your experience will be pivotal as you support our team with:
Talent Strategy: Partnering with hiring managers on recruitment and staffing, from candidate experience to onboarding.
Employee Relations: Navigating complex HR matters with clarity and compassion, fostering a positive, open work environment.
Development & Training: Collaborating with property and regional leadership to manage all aspects of training, development, and performance management.
Community Engagement: Supporting our Corporate Social Responsibility pillars and enhancing Atrium’s presence within the community.
Operational Oversight: Managing associate files, payroll support, workers’ compensation, safety, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
You’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining Atrium’s Core Values through policies, associate recognition programs, and by co-chairing our safety team to ensure a secure environment.

Qualifications:
Required Prior Experience:
5+ years of Human Resources experience as a HR leader with broad HR Generalist skills
Working knowledge and practice of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, COBRA, etc. and an understanding of state and federal law
Hospitality experience
Required Education:
Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field of study; or equivalent experience
Required Licenses/ Certification:
HR Certification active or in process
Required Technology:
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Other:
Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills
Bi-Lingual Preferred
