Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) for a locum tenens opportunity in Columbus, GA. This position offers competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and a well-supported emergency department.
Opportunity Details:
- Location: Columbus, GA
- Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift Schedule:
- 6a-3p, 10a-8p, 3p-12a, 8p-6a
- Minimum Commitment: 10-12 shifts per month (9-10 hour shifts) – need 18 in June
- Practice Setting: Physician-led Emergency Department
Facility Details:
- Annual Volume: 40,000 patient visits
- Admission Rate: TBD
- Physician Coverage: Comprehensive, covering all shifts
- APC Coverage: 7a-5p, 9a-8p, 12-10p, 5p-3a, 9p-7a
- EMR System: Cerner
- Travel & Lodging: Provided
Patient Load & Flow:
- Patients Per Hour: 2.0
- ED Bed Count: 30
Provider Requirements:
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Licensure: Active & Unrestricted GA State License & DEA
- Required Certifications: ACLS (Required with current EM boards)
