About The Position
Opportunity Details
Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in southwestern Georgia that has an opening for an Interventional Radiologist to provide locum coverage.
Opening Overview:
- Schedule: Monday-Monday (8a-5p with call) or Monday-Friday (8a-5p without call)
- Case Mix: 60% IR, 40% DX
- Light IR Procedures: CT/US-guided biopsies, para and thoracentesis, lumbar puncture and milligrams, chest tube insertion, nephrostomy, and embolization procedures for trauma patients
- Diagnostic Cases: Majority PFs, some CTs if able
- EMR: AthenaHealth
- PACS: Powerscribe and McKesson
- Dictation: AI for stroke and PE procedures
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
