Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer in the Payload and Ground Systems Division Engineering organization supporting our Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit (BU) to support a program out of our Aurora, CO office. This position requires multidiscipline knowledge in all areas related to systems engineering including systems design, modeling, requirements development, and integration and test. Diplomatically interface with all levels of management, employees, internal and external customers, and vendors. Experience writing and reviewing CONOPS. This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work. Basic Qualifications: Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at the time of application. Must have a completed STEM degree [a degree in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics] with below years of experience. 8 Years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's (STEM). 6 Years of relevant experience with a completed Masters's (STEM). 4 Years of relevant experience with a completed Ph.D. (STEM). Must have experience on all of the below: Experience with requirements development, decomposition, software verification, and generating system and segment-level test procedures. Data Analysis & RF Mission processing. Experience using Jira and Agile processes during day-to-day work. Experience with Interface Control Document development and associated block diagrams. Experience with creating security and transportation plans. Experience with JIRA. Experience in gathering requirements, leading exercises or demonstrations. Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). Hands-on experience developing and performing real-time executable demo plans. Strong written and oral communications skills. Preferred Qualifications: Detailed familiarity with space system operational documentation. Mentor newer members of the operations team. Experience working on Agile programs and methodology. Understanding and implementation of Model-Based Systems Engineering Experience using MBSE & Cameo. General knowledge of ground segment architecture.
