School Psychologist (PSY) - School - (PSY - School)
StartDate: 8/14/2025 Available Shifts: 7.5 D Pay Rate: $1860.00 - $2143.00

AMN Healthcare is partnering with a top school district in Aurora, IL to hire a School Psychologist to work in the area, providing services to children of all ages. This School Psychologist will provide counseling services to students on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and to the regular student population (treating mood disorders, autism, anxiety, depression, ADHD, social skill deficits, conduct disorders) to foster positive coping strategies, motivation, and skill development. Responsibilities will include conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students’ needs and strengths, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans, provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issue. They will collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments, provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed. They will also coordinate outreach activities that support students and families including pediatricians, outside counseling agencies, and agencies such as DCF, DMH, etc.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
