This is a great opportunity for a flexible self-starter to work in a dynamic environment with real world technical content supporting several tools and systems. What you'll get to do: Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree + 5 years of relative experience; Master's degree + 3 years of relative experience: PhD + 0 years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Candidate must have a current/active Top Secret/SCI security clearance at time of application to be considered and must be willing to take a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly). CompTIA Security+ Certification Strong knowledge of software engineering concepts (OOP, unit testing, etc.) Experience with Python programming. Experience with Data Lake ingestion, indexing, and querying. Understanding of AWS Simple Query Service (SQS). GitLab familiarization. Exposure to Agile processes.
