Summary Objective:
The Sr. Facilities Technician is responsible for providing a safe and functional club environment under the management of the Facilities Department and with the support of the club staff. The Sr. Facilities Technician will respond and manage assigned work orders within the ServiceChannel system, complete repairs, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance at assigned clubs. The Sr. Facilities Technician will serve as a cover for all technicians in the region when they are on PTO and support other technicians on Major Tickets and more complex repairs in all regional clubs alongside their assigned clubs. The Sr. Facilities Technician will conduct training and mentor other technicians on repairs and procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Deliver the ultimate fitness experience to every member, every time
- Manage facilities repair and maintenance workflow in ServiceChannel
- Manage Major Tickets and high priority projects
- Serve as cover for Regional Technicians when they are on PTO
- Support other technicians with complex repairs
- Provide Training and mentoring to other technicians
- Prioritize high priority repairs and communicate any changes
- Complete facilities repairs in a timely manner within KPI guidelines
- Communicate with facilities and club staff and management
- Regularly inspect clubs for repair and maintenance issues as well as hazardous conditions
- Commute between clubs in own vehicle (mileage will be reimbursed)
Job Responsibilities:
- Create, manage, and respond to facilities major repairs at all regional clubs
- Act as a deputy for the Regional Facilities Manager when they are out of office
- Complete regular inspections to identify and repair problems
- Complete repairs in carpentry, tile, painting, drywall, and general building repair
- Complete all required plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repair and maintenance as assigned
- Answer all inquiries from senior leadership and management in a timely, complete manner
- Communicate with club management and staff repair status and associated timelines of repairs
- Communicate with facilities management repair status and associated timelines of repairs
- Uphold club, building, facilities, service, program, and emergency procedures
- Attend all mandatory meetings
- Assume all other duties as assigned
- Complete after hours and emergency on-call work as needed
