Job Summary: Directly responsible for the operations of the Six Flags Over Georgia Security Department. Prepares work schedules, performs inspections, and assists guests/employees in the park.Â
You will have the opportunity to apply and interview for Security Lead or Security Supervisor position. Application Deadline: Supervisor - December 5th, 2024 and Lead - December 13th, 2024.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises Seasonal Security Officers and/or Leads.
- Conducts on-shift post inspections.
- Makes frequent checks of patrol and fixed security assignments in the park.
- Documents performance of Security Officers.
- Assembles evidence and assists in the questioning of suspects.
- Coordinates with supervision arrests and ejections.
- Reviews and approves reports, logs, and other records of shift activities.
- Passes on information to Supervisors and/or Managerial Supervisors coming on duty.
- Assist in conducting Security Training for Security Officers.
- Keeps Supervisors informed of all activities and occurrences.
- Ensures for proper performance of personnel by departmental operating policy.
- Ensures maintenance and cleanliness of security vehicles and equipment.
- Ensures all Security policies are in place and being consistently followed.
- All other duties as assigned by Management
Lead Payrate: $15.50/hr.
Supervisor Payrate: $16.50/hr.
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- 1 to 2 years of Security experience or background preferred.
- High School Diploma.
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License.
- Possess the ability to handle confidential information without divulging contents to peers and coworkers.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Possess and demonstrate a positive and professional image.
- Theme Park experience preferred.
- Previous supervisory/management experience preferred.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift seventy-five pounds unassisted.
