Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Pay: Pay Frequency Weekly $72,800/yr USD - $93,600/yr USD 

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to troubleshoot, calibrate and adjust pilots, thermostats and burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches, and controls on electrical systems. 
• Ability to use the tools of the trade (e.g. multimeter, refrigerant gauges, charging charts, hand tools etc.) 

Responsibilities:

• Installs, maintains, and repairs ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. 
• Identifies maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnoses electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. 
• Cleans, adjusts, and repairs systems, and performs warranty services. 
• Performs emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. 
• Provides technical direction and on-the-job training. 
• Keeps daily logs and records of all maintenance functions. 
• Ensures compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act 
• Complies with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements. 
• Assists with customers' queries.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
• Work truck is provided.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Commercial HVAC Service experience
• Preventative Maintenance, diagnose issues on all units, troubleshooting with mechanical/electrical.
• Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational certification required. 
• 5+ years’ experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field. 
• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.  
• Customer Service Experience focused.
