RN OR Specialty Team Lead Position Summary
Position assumes a lead role for an assigned surgery services service line. Provides professional nursing care within the intraoperative areas. Covers pre-op/PACU as needed. Position responsible for anticipating physician needs, maintaining preference cards, training new employees. Liaises with Supply Chain Management/Environmental Services/Central Sterile Processing to ensure that the service line has sufficient supplies. Scrubs/Circulates as needed. Floats as required. Liaises with Physician/Surgeon to understand physician preferences related to room setup, availability of supplies, operating environment, etc.
Call is required for this position. Must reside within a 30 radius.
THE RN OR ROBOTICS SPECIALTY TEAM LEAD FT DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Associates Degree in Nursing
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 - 5 year of operating room experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 5 years of operating room experience
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Current RN license in the state of Arizona, or compact state.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION: CNOR
SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to operate in stressful situations, acts with diplomacy. Learns physician preferences and applies knowledge to working environment.
