Northrop Grumman is seeking Electronics Engineers This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Baltimore, MD.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Field Engineering organization. Field Engineering supports the installation, repair, and troubleshooting of Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems technology for our customers. This position is based in Baltimore, MD but may require travel/deployment to support technology hands-on at customer sites, which may be domestic or abroad. Many of these customer sites are military bases. The length of these travel deployments can vary based on customer needs and may last several weeks.

Basic Qualifications: 

This requisition may be filled at either a level 1 Associate Electronics Engineer or a level 2 Electronics Engineer. 

Basic Qualifications for an Associate Electronics Engineer

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Be majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electromagnetics, or a closely related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
  • A final DoD Secret clearance is required to start
  • Special Access Program clearance is required to start

Basic Qualifications for an Electronics Engineer

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be completing or has completed their Master's degree from an accredited institution
  • Be majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electromagnetics, or a closely related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
  • A final DoD Secret clearance is required to start
  • Special Access Program clearance is required to start

Preferred Qualifications for both levels:

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
  • Experience or coursework related to Electromagnetics
  • Experience or coursework related to Radio Frequency (RF) technology
  • Experience or coursework related to Radar Signal Processing
  • Active US DoD Security Clearance
  • Military experience
  • Ability/willingness to travel both domestically and internationally

Pay Range:

Level 1 Associate Electronics Engineer: $68,800 - $103,200/year

Level 2 Electronics Engineer: $83,300 - $124,900/year
