Help shape the future working with the most advanced radar systems in the industry! Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector Test Engineering organization is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principle Antenna Test Software Engineer to be an instrumental part of Northrop Grumman's Test Engineering Team.
What You'll Get to Do:
Test software architecture and development related to phased array testing
Test software architecture and development for automating test processes and data analysis
Lead test software development teams across multiple software projects
Define software requirements based on product test requirements
Develop test plans and lead software integration efforts
Support production test and lead troubleshooting efforts
Collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements
Maintain sensitivity to cost, schedule and quality as well as Northrop Grumman policies and procedures

This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Antenna Test Engineer, or a Sr Principal Antenna Test Engineer based on the qualifications below.
Basic Qualifications for an Principal Antenna Test Software Engineer:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline with 5 Years of relevant experience; 3 Years with Masters
Professional software development experience using languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, etc.
Professional software architecture experience
Professional leadership experience leading software teams through software development projects
Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.
Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
U.S. citizenship

Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.
Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
U.S. citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
Software development experience with RF and antenna systems
Test software development experience in a nearfield antenna range
RF test experience and/or antenna test/range experience
Familiarity with RF and antenna theory

Salary Range: $102,400 - $153,600Salary Range 2: $127,000 - $190,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
