Manpower Engineering is partnering with a well-known building material manufacturing company that is seeking a Senior EHS Specialist to join their plant in Baltimore MD.

Job Title: Senior EHS Specialist

Location: Baltimore, MD

Pay Range: $95,000-105,000

 

What’s the Job?

  • Practice safe working techniques and reinforce the safety policies, guidelines, and procedures as set out by the Company.
  • Monitor site-specific EHS leading and lagging indicators.
  • Support the execution of strategic initiatives within the plants.
  • Lead incident investigations, development of corrective actions, and communicate lessons learned in a timely, effective, and thorough manner.
  • Review accidents and incidents, conduct audits and reporting; oversee EHS corrective actions.
  • Ensure the plant is current on all relevant Environmental, Health and Safety documents in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

 

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical or Environmental Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in workplace environmental, health and safety program within a manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to complex machine guarding required.
  • Experience with Process Safety Management concepts like Management of Change preferred.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, policies, programs, PPE, environmental policies (EPA), safety engineering, accident/injury investigation procedures and operating rules, etc.
