Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Manager to lead our CPAP program and support our mission of delivering exceptional home-based respiratory care. This role oversees CPAP services for pediatric and adult patients across Maryland, DC, and Virginia, managing a talented team of respiratory specialists and coordinators. Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Support

  • Guide and support a team of CPAP specialists, Complex Care Coordinators, and Respiratory Therapists (RT I and liaisons), helping them succeed in their roles.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring the team delivers high-quality care and meets professional standards.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Patient Care Excellence

  • Ensure the team provides compassionate and effective care for patients with complex respiratory needs.
  • Work closely with other managers to uphold clinical standards and create a cohesive, patient-centered approach.
  • Collaborate with the Quality and Safety Manager to address any patient safety concerns and implement improvements.

Program Development

  • Lead the growth and development of the CPAP program, exploring new ways to enhance services and support patients.
  • Monitor referral trends and identify opportunities to improve processes and patient experiences.
  • Develop educational materials to help patients and their families understand and succeed with their respiratory care plans.

Operational and Financial Management

  • Assist with budget planning and monitor program expenses to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Track productivity and help the team stay on target with program goals.
  • Provide input on staffing needs and resource allocation to support program success.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Share program updates and key insights at meetings with staff and leadership.
  • Maintain open communication across teams to ensure alignment and resolve challenges effectively.

What We’re Looking For

  • A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a passion for patient care.
  • Leadership experience in a clinical or homecare setting is a plus but not required—we’re happy to support your growth!
  • A strong communicator and team player who enjoys helping others succeed.
  • Familiarity with CPAP programs and respiratory care standards (NBRC, AARC, and The Joint Commission).

Education:

  • AA required BS preferred, licensed RRT
  • Work requires the level of knowledge typically acquired through the completion of five years of respiratory

Salary Range: Minimum 33.74 per hour - Maximum 61.27 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
