Position Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist, specializing in Post-Acute Care, provides medically prescribed services for inpatients and/or outpatients. The goal is to restore function, minimize disability following disease or injury, and assist patients in reaching their maximum possible level of functioning. This includes enabling patients to assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of their disabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting assessments and treatment activities with patients. Frequently engaging in internal communication outside the workgroup to exchange work-related information. Handling external contacts to provide or gather factual information, requires normal courtesy and tact.

Education and Certifications:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current State Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (preferred). Current CPR Certification.

Work Experience:

Successful completion of a Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship. Experience in a Post-Acute Rehab Setting is required.

Salary Range: Minimum 51.00 per hour - Maximum 51.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
