Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems is seeking a Test Engineer to become an instrumental part of their Radar Cross Section (RCS) Test Engineering Team at its Linthicum, MD campus. This Test Engineering role is within a lab environment and includes the design, planning and execution of RCS / Low Observable (LO) testing for individual programs. The test engineer has the responsibility for test planning, configuration of the test, model preparation, data collection and post-processing, as well as holding data reviews with program engineers. The role will include standard lab and facility upkeep as well as frequent use of hand tools, overhead cranes, and mobile elevated working platforms. On the job training is anticipated and will be required. Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Provide Antenna Test Engineering support for RCS test facilities · LO test article configuration, mounting and testing · Troubleshooting radar system and data analysis issues during test · Support technicians with troubleshooting and training · Collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements. This position will be filled at the antenna test engineer or principal antenna test engineer. Please note this is for a swing shift - 11 AM start time.
