Plans, coordinates, and executes laboratory equipment and system development, calibration, safety, and 5S related activities within Test Services. In addition, individual will be responsible for identifying and resolving areas that need improvement pertaining to lab equipment (maintenance & calibration), automation, procedures and policies. Ensures all work conducted is in accordance with laboratory procedures, company quality system, and according to project plan and schedules. Maintains Test Tool Validation Log in Agile. Lead a team to establish best-in-class test automation equipment and methods across electrical, mechanical, biomedical, and software test disciplines. Collaborate with engineers to define and prioritize test system development plans. Prepare documentation, instructions, and manuals for equipment use. Provide and document training according to quality processes and procedures. Identify, document, and validate primary requirements for test system equipment. Develop software-controlled electromechanical test system equipment for accelerated life cycle testing, data acquisition, and reporting. Coordinate test development personnel for multiple projects. Plan, justify, and secure capital equipment for fixture development. Maintain Test Tool Validation Log in Agile. Initiate and complete documentation for equipment setup, calibration, verification, validation, and maintenance.
