Hours:

2nd Shift, 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Pay: $21.59 plus $2.00 shift differential for a total of $23.59 for 2nd Shift.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with Exmark, you will be responsible for: 

  • Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials to meet production goals.
  • Examines items produced to determine if items meet specifications.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces policies and safety regulations.
  • Interprets specifications, drawings, and job orders to subordinates, and assigns duties.
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Check inventory to ascertain that all necessary parts and quantities are available and if necessary, confer with purchasing department.
  • Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure improved production methods, tools and equipment maintenance and inventory, and quality of product.
  • Meet production quotas and maintain quality standards.
  • Responsible for training new employees.
  • Thorough knowledge of activities of workers supervised.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Responsible for 3 Tier meetings with employees.
  • Follow written standard work and be able to develop standard work and maintain.
  • Responsible for updating production boards, hourly.
  • Assist in driving the job rotation program.
  • May provide input on performance appraisal, rewarding, disciplinary actions, addressing complaints and resolving problems for employees in group.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires 18 months of on-the-job experience (or supervisor's discretion).
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, production work orders and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to complete paperwork and correspondence.
  • Must possess good communication skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage.
