What Will You Do?
- Hangs (unhangs) parts on paint line carriers according to standard work or procedures
- Performs visual check on all parts to ensure quality standards are met Â
- Operates electric or pneumatic hoist to set heavier painted parts on carts in advance of assemblyÂ
- Uses pallet jack or forklift to move parts to storage areasÂ
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, regulations, and active participation in all 5S efforts and initiativesÂ
- Performs daily inspections of equipment within area of responsibility to insure all equipment is in safe working order Â
- Strives to meet all established safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards Â
- Continually seeks to improve production methods, equipment performance and overall quality of product
- Ability to learn a variety of different product lines
- Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved
- Willingly performs other duties as assigned by supervisorÂ
What Do You Need?
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Â
- Ability to follow standard work and procedures
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly; 25 pounds frequently; 40 pounds occasionally    Â
