Job Summary:
- Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures using required ACR standards.
- Assists the Radiologist with invasive procedures when required.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound image acquisition.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of EPIC and PACS workflow.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
-Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
-Provides evidence of continuing education as required to maintain certification
-Current ARDMS and CPR certification
-At least two years as a diagnostic technologist
-Strong prioritization and triage skills are necessary to maintain a smooth workflow
-Proficiency in scanning general, vascular, upper and lower extremity venous Doppler, as well as some pediatric exams, is also required.
Shift: Full-Time 40/hrs per week, Night shift, Mon-Fri 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM with rotating weekend nights call.
Salary Range: Minimum 36.47 per hour - Maximum 60.17 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
