Job Summary:

  • Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures using required ACR standards.
  • Assists the Radiologist with invasive procedures when required.
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound image acquisition.
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of EPIC and PACS workflow.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

-Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

-Provides evidence of continuing education as required to maintain certification

-Current ARDMS and CPR certification

-At least two years as a diagnostic technologist

-Strong prioritization and triage skills are necessary to maintain a smooth workflow

-Proficiency in scanning general, vascular, upper and lower extremity venous Doppler, as well as some pediatric exams, is also required.

Shift: Part-Time Limited, 20 - 24 hours per week. This position will funtion primarily every Saturday & Saturday from 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Candidate is welcome to pick-up additional shifts throughout the week as needed. At least 1 call shift is required per month.

Salary Range: Minimum 36.47 per hour - Maximum 60.17 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
