Supervisor Nurse Practitioner – Cardiac Surgery Program
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Provides direct clinical care 50% of the time
- Supervises and oversees NP clinical practice as well as human resource and operational duties (i.e. scheduling, evaluations, payroll). Cardiac surgery NP & Cardiac surgery office NP
- Collaborates with the medical director of the cardiac surgery to advance clinical care and patient outcomes including standardized workflows and protocols
- Partners with the medical director to forecast future clinical program needs and leads implementation
- Creates educational plans to advance NP skills, takes an active role in providing inservices to the NP team.
- Partners with the ICU nursing director, Intensivist team, PA team to ensure optimal working relationship and collegiality
- Attends and participates in CT collaborative. Partners with local and system physician leaders to identify trends in patient outcomes and co-lead efforts for improvements.
Salary Range: Minimum 63.94 per hour - Maximum 99.11 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
