What you will do in this role:

  • Under the supervision of the R.N., assists with the assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy.  Identifies and initiates appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions.
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

 


Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited licensed practical/ vocational nurse program.
  • Current Montana state licensure as Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
  • BLS certification
  • IV Certified required or obtained within 6 months highly preferred
  • Minimum six months’ Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
