What You Will Do:
Review accounts from the Metrix work queue and/or assigned spreadsheets by contacting the insurance company for resolution and payment, as well as, ensure all claim edits in the Waystar billing system are resolved and billed in 24 hours or less. The Patient Account Representative has a strong knowledge of billing, managed care, timely filing guidelines and the ability to effectively review remittance advices and electronic billing reports from payer to determine the action required. This position performs all related job duties as assigned. This position is onsite. Office Hours are M-F 8:00am-4:30pm.
What You Will Need:
1 plus years’ experience of hospital billing non-government insurances
 High School diploma or equivalent.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
CPAR (Certified Patient Account Rep)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
 Prior experience with Metrix, Waystar, and HealthQuest
Experience with spreadsheets, reporting, payer contracts, payer websites and sFax
 Denials and insurance follow up
 Knowledge and understanding of ICD-10 diagnosis, HCPCS and CPT codes  Â
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
