Occupational Therapist - Acute - (OT - Acute)

4-x10sOn-Cal; 1x monthDays *Must Have*CBOT (California Board of OT) approval to provide Hand TherapyAdditional Position Details:The position is 35% Acute Care 65% Outpaitent The outpatient caseload is a combination of ortho and adult neuro Hand therapy and splint fabrication experience is required Required:• Graduate of an accredited program of Occupational Therapy and holding a current Occupational Therapy license in the State of California. • Obtained the minimum level of education required for licensure at the time of original licensing.• Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist.• BLS within 2 month of hire and on-going.• Interpersonal skills necessary in order to instruct/comfort patients/families, and colleagues; to maintain effective communication/contact with healthcare team members.• Analytical skills necessary in order to prioritize workload develop solutions to problems concerning patient’s body, mind, and spirit.• Basic computer knowledge including: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Intranet.• Ability to learn Computer software programs including, but not limited to: Cerner Millennium, Policy Manager, OneSource, HPF, One Content, etc.• Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English.Preferred:• Other professional related experience.• A Master’s or Doctrate Degree if preferred in Occupational Therapy or other related field. • AOTA approved certifications and Advanced Practice Continued competency in the occupational therapy field.
