Applications & SharePoint Administrator III
Overview:
This is an entry-level Applications and SharePoint Administrator position. The incumbent is responsible for developing front-end modifications/enhancements for system applications to meet emerging program needs. This position will work closely with program offices, subject matter experts, end users, and other stakeholders to gather system requirements and implement solutions that support training and operations. The incumbent will also provide technical support for SharePoint and other third-party applications, managing content/storage, building workflows, administering user permissions, and troubleshooting access issues as necessary.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Use common and advanced SharePoint features to build and implement standard and custom solutions
- Assist other team members with standard builds, operations, security, and troubleshooting in support of SharePoint and other applications/systems.
- Leverage the integration of Microsoft 365 applications (to include Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.) with SharePoint to increase efficiency and develop new processes.
- Load and maintain content to SharePoint and other content management systems while ensuring synchronization across all platforms.
- Perform SharePoint site administration functions, including creating new views and subsites, maintaining lists and document libraries, developing workflows, troubleshooting issues, and managing user permissions/access requests
- Build workflows and custom solutions using PowerApps and Power Automate/Flow.
- Configure, integrate, test, implement, and validate new features and applications based on documented project requirements.
- Collaborate with programmer team members to translate requirements into customized solutions.
- Perform audience and use-case analysis to conceptualize organization schema and structures for information and files
- Provide technical training/guidance for SharePoint, as well as other applications and systems.
- Provide guidance on content management for other areas of operation.
- Assist with creating fully deployable solutions, as well as developing project plans and SOPs.
- Mentor team members on standard builds, operations, and troubleshooting. Performs quality assurance reviews on team members work
- Coordinate with operational units/programs to gather needs requirements and validate processes throughout the project development and implementation phase.
- Assist with development of custom databases to store and structure data into secure and accessible formats
- Perform basic operations and is proficient with advanced operations in in a variety of training support systems, enterprise collaboration tools, content management systems, learning management systems, and resource management systems
- Makes recommendations for custom solutions or system enhancements to meet program requirements

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelors degree or relevant experience/certification(s) required.
- Technical-level experience in front-end system administration in one or more enterprise collaboration environments; SharePoint required.
- Experience with asset structuring, platform architecture, organization schema, and system security.
- Experience with leveraging the integration of Microsoft 365 applications (to include Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.) with SharePoint.
- Experience developing technical training tools and user guides.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Possesses critical thinking skills to conceptualize and implement standard and custom solutions within specified parameters and constraints.
- Demonstrated advanced skills with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office.
- Able to perform assigned duties independently or within a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with remaining professional under pressure, identifying and executing project milestones, and managing client expectations.
- Excellent writing/editing and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
