Tekni-Plex, Inc is hiring for an Extrusion Operator to join their production team in Bloomfield, NY.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturer in consumer grade plastic products! As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products according to specifications.
 
Compensation & Benefits:
$20/hr.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate extrusion machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
Monitor the extrusion process to ensure product quality and consistency.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of extrusion equipment.
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Record production data and complete necessary documentation.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
 
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an extrusion operator or in a similar role preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods
