The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Blue Ridge Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Risk Manager / Quality Coordinator RN to lead initiatives in patient safety, quality improvement, and risk mitigation. This individual will also support employee health services and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This is a full-time, day shift position offering a dynamic opportunity to make a significant impact on the delivery of healthcare and organizational performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the organization's risk management program, including identification, analysis, and mitigation of risks to patients, staff, and the organization
  • Lead quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Track, report, and investigate incident reports, patient complaints, and adverse events
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Conduct audits, root cause analyses, and staff education on quality and safety practices
  • Assist in employee health coordination, including immunization tracking, TB screening, injury/incident follow-ups, and occupational health protocols
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and workplace safety standards
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation in accordance with HIPAA and institutional policies

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in the state of Georgia (required)
  • BSN preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a hospital or healthcare setting (preferred)
  • Prior experience in quality management, risk management, or patient safety strongly preferred
  • Experience in employee health or occupational health is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead process improvements

Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time
