The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center located in Blue Ridge, Georgia and we are searching for a Respiratory Therapist. The Respiratory Care Professional is responsible for providing care, which includes assessment, treatment, management, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. This role involves consulting with physicians and providing consultation, instruction, and/or technical direction to medical, nursing, and other staff members. In addition, the Respiratory Therapist will perform other duties as assigned. Shift: 6:45pm-7:15am rotating weekend Must have a high school/GED diploma. Associate or bachelors degree preferred. Experience: Desirable characteristics include at least two years’ experience in a hospital or medically related environment. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress. Licenses/Certificates: Prefer NBRC Certified or Registered therapist. Must possess a Georgia License as a Respiratory Care Professional. An active BLS, and ACLS certification is a condition of employment. PALS and NRP preferred. These certifications must be kept current to maintain this positionÂ
