The Staff Pad is excited to partner with a premier healthcare facility in Blue Ridge, GA to find a skilled and dedicated Radiology Technologist to join their Radiology Department. This position is ideal for a technologist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging.


Position Overview: Variety of Shifts Available or PRN


The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, in multiple settings such as the radiology department, ER, OR, and with portable equipment. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the highest quality care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging studies, including CT, following department protocols and radiologist directives.
  • Safely transport patients to and from the imaging department, ensuring proper body mechanics and patient care standards.
  • Verify patient identity and explain procedures clearly, ensuring patient comfort and privacy.
  • Manage and maintain imaging equipment and ensure the cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.
  • Assist with orientation and training of new staff members and students.
  • Prepare and complete all required documentation for each study.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal care, contributing to a safe and efficient department.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Current ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
  • State licensure as required.
  • CPR certification (must be current or completed within 60 days of hire).
  • Preferably at least one year of hospital-based experience.
  • Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
  • Regularly lift and position patients as needed for procedures.
