About The Position

Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Ophthalmologist for a locum tenens position at a Clinic in Massachusetts. Responsibilities and Duties:Ā 

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmologic care to patientsĀ 

• Perform surgical procedures using advanced equipment

• Conduct examinations using state-of-the-art diagnostic toolsĀ 

• Utilize various laser units for treatments

• Participate in resident teaching

• Collaborate with a team of ophthalmologists and optometristsĀ 

• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentationĀ 

• Perform anterior segment proceduresĀ 

• Adhere to all clinic policies and proceduresĀ 

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ophthalmologic best practices and treatment guidelinesĀ 

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff membersĀ 

• Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality care


Requirements:Ā 

• Active Massachusetts state medical licenseĀ 

• Board certification in OphthalmologyĀ 

• Experience with advanced ophthalmologic equipment and proceduresĀ 

• Excellent surgical skills and attention to detailĀ 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skillsĀ 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a teamĀ 

• Experience in or willingness to participate in resident teachingĀ
