Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
路 Oversee all operational functions related to the safe and effective operation of Hurricane Harbor
路 Ensure 100% compliance with all Water Park standard operating procedures as they relate to Six Flags Standardization
路 Ensure the proper staffing levels are maintained and assists in specialized recruiting when appropriate
路 Assist with the creation and maintenance of the operating budget for the Operations departments
路 Directly supervises all seasonal Hurricane Harbor Operations Supervisors and Team Members
路 Responsible for maintaining compliance with all Six Flags standards and enforcing park policies & procedures
路 Supervise seasonal team members, including hiring, discipline, rewards/recognition, and termination decisions
路 Responsible for ensuring completion of team member evaluations and associated merit and promotional opportunities associated with performance review of seasonal staff
路 Responsible for tracking and operating within labor and expense budgets
路 Responsible for interacting with Guests, resolving complaints, and addressing concerns
路 Coordinate and assist with off-season activities to include training, recruiting, and winterization functions
路 Ensure 100% compliance with all standard operating procedures as they relate to Six Flags standardization and/or Federal or State guidelines
路 Train, audit and adhere to all labor laws and guidelines to ensure full compliance with Federal, State, and park regulations
路 Commitment to department, park, and company standards
路 Assist Entertainment in the set up & Operation of Fright Fest
路 Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and Director

Skills and Qualifications:
路 Ellis & Associates International Lifeguard Training Program (ILTP) Special Facilities Certification
路 Ellis & Associates International Lifeguard Training Program (ILTP) Instructor Certification
路 Will be required to work up to six days per week during operating season, including nights, weekends, and holidays
路 Must be able to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication
路 Superior front line customer service focus required
路 Must possess strong leadership, motivational, interpersonal, and organizational skills
路 Strong work ethic with an attention to detail
路 Occasional travel for training, and assistance at sister properties may be required
路 Must be 18 years of age or older
路 Ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously and meet deadlines in an efficient manner
路 An AFO or CPO certification, preferred
