TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/SPECIALIZED SKILLS:
路 5 years of related experience
路 Extensive knowledge of automotive technology
路 Knowledge of all fields and disciplines required comprehending the products, materials, procedures, process and analysis and QA functions of MAS products
路 Excellent project management skills
路 Understanding of Blueprints
路 Knowledge using measuring equipment: calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc.
路 Experience operating machines: Mill, Lathe, Welder, OD/ID Grinder, and/or Surface Grinder
ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (These are essential to the position)
路 Follow up on daily die/quality concerns
路 Develop/implement C/M to repetitive problems using PDCA
路 Collect/organize/perform analysis that leads to die improvement activity
路 Support QA activity/document and drawing control
路 Support trouble investigations
路 Support Die Maintenance Associate concerns
路 Support business plan targets and activity plans
路 Be capable of assessing current situations and develop effective methods, thru team work, to C/M concerns
路 Develop control system that build quality into dies and minimize production concerns (ie. Electrical, hydraulics, water, cooling, etc_
路 Support/develop activity to achieve department goals
路 Perform special projects and assignments
路 Be self motivated
路 Utilize others to develop most effective solution
路 Lead by example
路 Solid people skills
路 Good organization and time management skills
路 Communicate all good/bad issues with all Die Maintenance associates
