- $35-$39 per hour based on experience and qualifications!
- Additional hour rate increases for each ASE certification you possess or obtain!
- Company-paid ASE testing and training materials
- Annual allowances for boots and prescription safety glasses
- Ongoing company training on state-of-the-art online system utilizing Cummins OEM, Ford OEM and internal training modules
About the position:
- Complete preventative maintenance inspections (PM’s).
- Complete Repairs on defects found during a PM
- Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repairs including but not limited to brakes, suspensions, engines, and transmissions.
- Complete repairs on defects noted during daily vehicle inspections-pre-trip inspections (DVI’s)
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
Qualifications for Fleet Diesel Mechanic
- Valid driver’s license required.
- At least 5 years of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair employment experience or a combination of technical school education & experience.
- Mechanic’s toolset
- ASE certifications preferred. Must be willing to participate in company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided!
- Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
