Our client, a leader in the property management industry, is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join their team. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the operations team supporting critical facility management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Location: Cambridge, MA
What's the Job?
- Oversee the maintenance and continuous operation of all boilers and related building systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, water chemistry testing, and necessary repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory laws and guidelines related to boiler operations.
- Maintain accurate records of building rounds, boiler logs, and compliance documentation.
- Identify safety hazards and participate in safety training programs.
What's Needed?
- State of MA / Cambridge 2nd class firemen license is REQUIRED.
- 3+ years of boiler/systems operational experience.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in facility-related systems.
- Basic working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
- Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.
