We’re looking for:
As a Logistics Clerk, you will work as part of our logistics team supporting the administrative tasks related to our logistics services. This includes data entry into company systems, reviewing reports, and customer service over the phone and via email.
You are:
● Organized. You are comfortable working in a fast paced environment, and can stay organized when handling multiple tasks.
● Detail-oriented. You will ensure a high degree of accuracy in your tasks, in accordance with our customer and company requirements.
● Team-oriented. You will support the Transport Supervisor/Manager with the day to day, and willing to jump in where needed to assist.
You will:
● Manually or electronically enter data in an accurate and timely manner, including vehicle information, locations, and other documents, into our transportation and inventory management systems.
● Assist with coordinating the movement of vehicles to and from the Vehicle Logistics Centers (VLC), including completing all related paperwork to ensure a smooth transaction.
● Respond to email and phone inquiries, including internal, customer, and subcontractors as required.
● May assist with posting transportation and related charges to customer accounts.
● Ensure customer satisfaction by communicating with clients; identifying & resolving issues in a timely manner.
● Investigate any discrepancies and communicate same to appropriate personnel in a timely manner
● Other duties as assigned.
Must haves:
● High School diploma or equivalent
● 1-2 Years’ of related experience or education in office administration / accounting
● Tech-savvy, and comfortable using Google Suite
● Strong customer service and communication skills
● Excellent organizational and time management skills
Nice to Haves:
● 1-3 years’ experience in logistics or general administration
● Experience with AMS, VTrace, and other OPENLANE systems
● Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
