Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Wage: $29.20-$34.91/hour + $0.25/hour shift differential

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 11pm-7am (5 days a week 8-hour schedule, usually OT on Saturdays)

Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Safely maintain all equipment utilizing the planned preventative maintenance program, troubleshoot and solve equipment problems, prioritize the scheduled maintenance work around the daily production schedules, create an atmosphere and culture that drives toward an accident free workplace, utilize both excellent mechanical skills and electrical/electronic skills
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, such as any servicing of conveyors, presses, stackers, etc.
- Read and understand mechanical prints, electrical wiring diagrams/schematics, AC/DC motors, pneumatic diagrams, and hydraulic diagrams
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install mechanical components, electrical controls, AC/DC motors, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic equipment, bearings, and power transmission
- Perform fabrication on equipment (welding both arc and gas) to desired needs, make adjustments on equipment to improve productivity, identify and locate unusual sounds that indicate potential trouble, and dismantle equipment to gain access to defective parts
- Examine and determine to what degree parts have worn and repair or replace parts as needed
- Operate metal, woodworking, and hand tools to make, and repair, parts
- Complete all work in a safe manner

Maintenance Mechanic Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment
- Must have technical skills in all disciplines of industrial maintenance
- Working knowledge of PLC controlled equipment
- Must have good working knowledge of various meters (volt/amp meters, schematics, dial calipers, heat sensing guns, etc.)
- Outstanding analytical and decision-making skills
- Able to handle multiple projects at one time
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Willing to work off shifts
