Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer/I&T Lead in the Payload and Ground Systems Division Engineering organization supporting the Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit (BU) to support a Ground program. The successful candidate will demonstrate broad systems and software engineering lifecycle knowledge. The candidate must be adaptable to course corrections and ever-evolving plan changes, have a solution-based mindset, and be able to advise and present managing scope and dependencies to both the technical and leadership teams. These teams are geographically dispersed, and the candidate should have the ability to operate as a team lead in a fast-paced software testing environment. The candidate is expected to operate independently with little oversight in a dynamic environment and to be highly self-motivated. The individual is expected to handle diverse assignments with efficiency, finding unique solutions, and working in a very collaborative and fast-paced environment that continues to grow. This position will be located at our Morrisville, North Carolina site. This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work.
