What’s the Job?

Design and implement high-reliability electronic systems, including PCBs, embedded systems, and power electronics, utilizing FPGA, processor, DDR memory, and industry interfaces like Ethernet, PCIe, I2C, USB, LVDS, and SERDES bus technologies.

Lead and perform all aspects of the circuit card design lifecycle, including requirements capture, schematic capture, component selection, signal integrity analysis, simulations, timing analysis, and thermal analysis.

Generate PCB layout constraint guidelines, routing instructions, board stackup creation, and oversee the routing, layout, fabrication, and assembly of complex designs.

Create test plans, perform root cause analysis, and test electronic circuits and systems, troubleshooting and resolving hardware-related issues during development and testing phases.

Utilize schematic capture tools like Siemens Mentor Graphics DxDesigner, Xpedition, Altium, Cadence Allegro, EAGLE, or KiCAD for circuit card design creation, and familiarity with Agile for Hardware Development, including planning, tracking, and managing projects in JIRA.

What’s Needed?
- U.S. Citizenship (due to the nature of the project)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and implementing high-reliability electronic systems, including PCBs, embedded systems, and power electronics
- Extensive experience with FPGA, processor, DDR memory components, and industry interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, I2C, USB, LVDS, and SERDES bus technologies
- Proficiency in schematic capture tools like Siemens Mentor Graphics DxDesigner, Xpedition, Altium, Cadence Allegro, EAGLE, or KiCAD, and familiarity with Agile for Hardware Development and JIRA
