Supervises all Housekeeping Aides and Laundry Aides

  • Develop and assure adherence to a cleaning schedule that addresses all areas of the facility.
  • Assure cleaning products, equipment and procedures are in compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets on all cleaning products.
  • Complies with all safety instructions and procedures when using chemical substances.
  • Develop and oversee staffing and supply budgets.
  • Prepare and submit reports as requested.
  • Assure housekeeping staff participation in relevant in-service training sessions.
  • Attend and participate in facility meetings, including those relating to Infection Control/Safety/Quality Improvement, as assigned.
  • Cover housekeeping and laundry roles as needed.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years housekeeping experience in an institutional environment
