Position Location: 485 N Juniper Dr. Suite 2 Chandler, AZ 85226

Position Schedule: Rotating shift schedule between the hours of 7am-7pm with rotating weekends and holidays

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Enter prescriptions from intake to order completion and verify member/patient data
  • Contact patients, pharmacists, and doctor's offices as a liaison for the pharmacy team
  • Communicate clearly and concisely via phone and electronic methods to patients, physicians, and other health care providers
  • Contact patients to complete refill assessments, request payment information, establish delivery details, and set up treatment in the Ambulatory Infusion Suite and/or other outpatient facilities
  • Access, input, and retrieve prescription and medical/lab information from computer system
  • Verify whether medication is reimbursable, and resolved rejected claims
  • Process prescription refills and interpret supply needs as related to various therapies
  • Resolve customer issues, ensuring accurate information is provided
  • Able to multitask and channel communication from various business partners, driving patient centric quality care
  • Follow all State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and Procedures, adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality code of ethics

Required Qualifications:

  • Active or unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license or registration where required by state law
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Windows PC applications including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Ability to work onsite at 485 N Juniper Dr. Suite 2 Chandler, AZ 85226
  • Ability to work a rotating shift schedule between the hours of 7am-7pm with rotating weekends and holidays
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
  • Previous home infusion experience
  • Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience
