About The Position
An outpatient cancer center is seeking a radiation oncologist for locum tenens coverage.
In Wheeling, West Virginia, visitors can explore the city's rich history and picturesque surroundings. Take a guided tour of the historic Centre Market district, filled with charming shops and eateries, or visit the impressive Victorian-era buildings such as the West Virginia Independence Hall. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy hiking and biking along the scenic Ohio River Trail or try their luck at fishing or boating on the nearby Ohio River.
This position involves clinic duties with some call, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The practice uses Epic EMR and manages 1520 patients undergoing treatment. Credentialing takes approximately 60 days. Board certification in Radiation Oncology is required, and an active West Virginia license is preferred. Emergency privs available!!
