As an essential part of the People Operations department, you’ll work with the Associate Housing team! Here, you will be responsible for the direct oversite of onsite housing, housekeeping, and housing transportation including training, development, hiring,amd overall coordination. You will also oversee the day-to-day operations of the employee housing facility which includes ensuring maintenance, upkeep and cleanliness for our residents. 

 

Job Status/Type: Seasonal 

Position Level: Supervisor 

Shift/Schedule Requirements: Ability to work various shifts and days including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. 

 

Typical Work Schedule 

  • 4-5 days per week

Positions are currently available for those who are 18 or older. 


Responsibilities:

As a part of the Carowinds Associate Housing team, your daily assigned duties would be as follows: 

  • Supervises and trains all housing staff while also providing excellent service to associates residing in housing. 
  • Reviews and approves/denies housing applications. 
  • Coordinates travel to associate housing from airports, train stations, and bus stations for international associates. 
  • Coordinates activities and events for associate housing residents. 
  • Responsible for adhering to and enforcing all housing policies and procedures. 
  • Ensures residents follow the Housing Safety Guidelines. 
  • Maintains inventory of housing issued items: Keys, key cards, etc. 
  • Consults with Area Manager to place supply orders for the facility. 
  • Provides counsel to housing staff and residents.  
  • Consults with Area Manager for termination decisions. 
  • Schedules team members according to staffing needs and budgetary constraints. 
  • Delegates and supervises projects as assigned.  
  • Report all building needs and repairs to Area Manager and enter all work orders into work order management system. 
  • Maintains accurate housing database to include room assignments, room availability, resident information, and move in and out dates. 
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:
  • Human Resources experience preferred.  
  • 2 - 3 years supervisory experience preferred. 
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills. 
  • Strong knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Power Point, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. 
  • Ability to pass a background check, which may include, but is not limited to criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law. 
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.  
  • Driver’s license required.
