Basic Qualifications:
Â
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• One (1) year of experience in the plumbing field required
• Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license
• Must possess journeyman electrician's license in the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed
Â
Preferred Qualifications:
Â
• Three (3) years of experience in the plumbing field is preferred
Â
Responsibilities:
Â
• Safely use hand and power tools to perform repairs, installations and maintenance according to building codes, safety regulations, and safety practicesÂ
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixturesÂ
• Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians and other construction professionalsÂ
• Follow building plans and blueprintsÂ
• Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies as directed by the plumber or forepersonÂ
• Performs routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systemsÂ
• Keep accurate records of work orders, detailed work progress, labor and materialsÂ
