A facility is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Kinston, NC.
The position requires providing regional on-call coverage for OBGYN services and handling both emergency and routine obstetric and gynecological cases, including births, ED consults, inpatient consults, and OB triage. Collaboration with hospital staff and other healthcare professionals is essential. The position involves 24-hour call coverage at a facility with a Level 1 nursery and a Level 1 maternity center. Pediatricians rotate calls and are not in-house 24/7. The average patient census is 3, with one average admission and 0-1 average deliveries per day, totaling 275 annual deliveries. The EMR systems used are EPIC (Stork) for electronic medical records and OBIX for fetal monitoring. The candidate must have a California license and be board-certified, with emergency privileges available.
