Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Staff Mission Assurance Engineer to join the Quality & Mission Assurance team located in Charlottesville/Waynesboro, Virginia*. In this role the Staff Mission Assurance Engineer will engage with program and engineering teams to define mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure a successful green-field manufacturing & testing site launch. This role will utilize advanced product quality planning methods and tools to deploy on both current and emerging programs to support production and test readiness. The selected engineer will initially collaborate with quality engineering teams at other NG sites to ensure requirements capture and lessons learned are utilized for the new site. Following successful program launches, the Staff Mission Assurance Engineer will transition to relevant QMA sustainment activities through product LRIP and FRP lifecycle stages. *Note: This position will start out in Charlottesville, VA for approximately 1 year, then will be located in Waynesboro, VA when the new facility is online.
